Senior Mark Ryman wanted to make this Valentine’s Day special, so he decided to propose to the love of his life: Cocoa Puffs.
According to Ryman, a childhood friend initially planted the idea of marrying Cocoa Puffs in his head when he asked him, “If you love them so much, why don’t you marry them?
” At the time, Mark laughed off the suggestion, knowing that at age eight he was nowhere near ready for marriage. However, he states that “the idea has kind of stayed in the back of my mind over the years as I’ve become more and more coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs.” This year, with his relationship with the chocolatey cereal stronger than ever, Mark decided to take action.
This morning, after savoring an intimate breakfast with Cocoa Puffs, Mark got down on one knee and asked the cereal to marry him.
Cocoa Puffs nodded wordlessly, and the two embraced with joy. Mark and Cocoa Puffs have already begun planning the wedding, trying to determine a seating arrangement that will allow mingling between cereals and people and looking for a beautiful dress to complement the boxy body shape of Cocoa Puffs.
