In a press conference last week, Steve Jobs announced that he will not only be releasing the iPad 2, he will also release the iPad 3D.
“It will be a magical experience,” said Jobs. “Never before has there been a device so beautiful, so realistic, and in three dimensions. It will almost be like you will be living with your apps.”
The device will, however, require the purchase of 3D iGoggles, which are sold separately.
Apple stock shot up after the announcement in anticipation of the release of the product.
