By the end of the year, Google will release physical glasses that will tell people whether or not it is raining. “We are really excited about this advance in technology,” said Sergei Brin as he donned a prototype that looked like stunna shades, “It uses advanced computer vision techniques to let you know when it is raining right in front of you. Then it notifies you by posting on Google+.” Many people have expressed excitement about the feature. “I’m so happy Google will notify me every time I’m walking in the rain,” said Palo Alto native Courtney Heller as she packed her umbrella just in case. “I hope they also add a feature to tell us when we’re in the middle of a hurricane.” Google said they plan to add all weather related notifications, as well as notifications that pop up when you’re just about to crash into that person walking right in front of you.
