In the wake of student ticket sales at Stanford, San Diego Chargers linebacker and Notre Dame alum Manti Te’o was devastated to learn that girlfriend Lennay Kekua had been unable to purchase him a Rose Bowl companion ticket for the game in Pasadena on January 1st.
“I know tickets went on sale for all Stanford students at 9pm,” Te’o told the Stanford Flipside. “She must not have been fast enough to get a ticket before they all sold out.
She probably forgot her SUID or something.
”
The Flipside tried to reach out for Kekua for comment, but could not find her information catalogued in StanfordWho.
