After this week’s grand opening of the Arillaga Family Dining Commons, it seems appropriate to update the Stanford community on other construction projects around campus. Here is a brief overview:

• The John Arillaga Lecture Hall, located on the corner of Arrilaga Way and North Arillaga Circle, is set to open mid-February.

• The Arrilaga Family Cricket Center will open next summer off of Campus Drive, on the newly built Arrilaga Court (coincidentally home to new tennis facilities).

• At the Knight Management School, opened just a few months ago, the Arillaga Center for Real Estate Development is to be inaugurated next year. The Center’s hallmark program will be the Arrilaga Lecture Series, held at Arillaga Hall.

• Finally, John Arrilaga and Stanford President John Hennessy recently announced the endowment of the Arrilaga Program in Philanthropy. Mr. Arrilaga will be the first Arrilaga Philanthropy Fellow.
